The Boat Goes Where the Wind Is.
5–8 Knots More Than Shore.
At remote islands like Ashrafi and Geisum, wind is consistently stronger than at mainland spots — the thermal effect amplifies over open water. While El Gouna beaches get crowded and light, your captain anchors where it’s blowing.
Zero Crowds. Every Day.
Uninhabited islands, no beach clubs, no other schools. Your group gets the entire lagoon. The captain picks the spot based on daily conditions — not a fixed timetable.
Zodiac Support. Always.
A zodiac is on the water whenever your group is riding. If you drift, we come to you. No swimming back, no waiting on shore. Every session runs safely.
Kite in the Morning. Dive in the Afternoon.
Not everyone in your group kites. Snorkeling and scuba diving are available on the same trip — so mixed groups work perfectly. The boat adapts to what each person wants.
The Spots. Named, Not Vague.
We don’t do “beautiful Red Sea islands.” Here’s exactly where we go — and why each spot works.
North Islands — departing Hurghada
Ashrafi Island
The standout spot of the northern archipelago. A massive waist-deep lagoon sheltered by reef, producing butter-smooth flat water — perfect for beginners and freestyle riders alike. Big enough for downwinders, foiling, and jumps all in the same session.
Geisum Island
Two distinct zones — North Geisum for flat water and South Geisum for more open conditions. Reliable thermal wind, wide shallow areas, and enough space for large groups. A consistent performer across the season.
Tawila Island
Long sandbar, shallow entry, and exposed wind from multiple directions. Great for freeride, beginners’ first water sessions, and body dragging practice. Often combined with Geisum for a multi-spot day.
Gubal Island
Further north with stronger, cleaner wind. More exposed — better suited to intermediate and advanced riders. Known for consistent afternoon thermal and spectacular scenery. Bonus: snorkeling on the reef while waiting for wind.
Abu Mongar
Famous for its low-tide sandbar — a perfect flat-water speed zone for freeriders and racers. Shallow enough to stand, fast enough to fly. Best as a final-day highlight when wind is strong.
South — departing Port Ghalib / Hamata
Hamata Islands
The hidden gem of the southern Red Sea. Multiple sheltered lagoons between uninhabited islands, mangrove coastlines, and turquoise water so flat it looks artificial. Fewer boats, more wind, completely off the tourist trail. Ideal for advanced groups who want something different.
When the Wind Shows Up.
June – September
🟢 Peak
Strong, consistent thermal wind 18–28 knots. Warm water, long days. Island spots deliver 5–8 knots more than shore. Book early — weeks sell out months in advance.
March – May / Oct – Nov
🔵 Good
Reliable thermal wind building through spring, tapering through autumn. Slightly cooler water in March–April. Still excellent conditions with less competition for dates.
December – February
⚪ Variable
Frontal wind — unpredictable. Can be epic (30 knots for 3 days) or light and frustrating. Not recommended for guaranteed kite weeks. Good for adventurous groups willing to mix activities.
🟢 Peak season · 🔵 Good conditions · ⚪ Low / variable wind
