A Resort Has Walls.
A Boat Has the Horizon.
Every morning you wake up somewhere different. The boat moves at night — quietly, while you sleep — and by sunrise you’re anchored somewhere new. No taxis, no schedules, no strangers at breakfast. The 24 people on board are your people — and by day three, the boat feels entirely like yours.
The sea does something to a group that a studio never can. Shared meals, shared silence, shared sunsets. The retreat leader sets the programme. The boat handles everything else.
What a Day Actually Looks Like.
This is a sample day — the retreat leader shapes the programme. The boat and crew adapt to the schedule, not the other way around.

Some Moments Happen Here
That Don’t Happen Anywhere Else.
The Red Sea is home to some of the largest resident spinner dolphin pods in the world — and two spots on our routes bring you closer to them than almost anywhere else.
Sataya — Dolphin House (South)
A sheltered reef in the southern Red Sea that a resident pod of several hundred spinner dolphins calls home year-round. They come to rest here — and they’re used to boats. Guests enter the water quietly and the dolphins swim with them, around them. It’s not a show. It’s their home and you’re a visitor.
Sha’ab El Erg — Dolphin House (North)
The northern equivalent — a reef formation near Hurghada with its own resident dolphin community. Accessible on North route safaris and day trips. Calmer, shallower waters make it ideal for beginners, children, and those who are new to open water.
A Note About Children with Special Needs
Something we’ve seen more than once aboard Aphrodite: dolphins come to the boat on their own. Not summoned, not trained — they simply appear at the hull, curious and close. For children with autism, sensory sensitivities, or developmental differences, these unplanned encounters have been some of the most profound moments their families have witnessed.
We don’t promise it. We can’t. But we sail the routes where it happens — and we create the conditions: calm water, slow movement, quiet on deck.
The Week Is as Full or as Still as You Want.
Yoga — Morning & Evening
Three sessions daily — sunrise on the sun deck, afternoon in the shade, evening wind-down. The retreat leader designs the practice. The boat provides the space.
Meditation & Breathwork
Guided sessions at anchor — morning stillness, sunset breathing, night sky meditation. Sound carries differently on open water. So does silence.
Swimming Lessons
For non-swimmers or those who want to build water confidence. Calm anchorage spots, patient instruction, zodiac safety support. Adults and children welcome.
Island Stops
Uninhabited islands for walks, beach time, and the campfire dinner. The kind of place that doesn’t appear on maps and takes a boat to reach.
Dolphin Swims
At Sataya (south) and Sha’ab El Erg (north) — resident pods, calm water, unforgettable. The single experience most guests mention first when they get home.
Sunrise & Sunset Rituals
The light on the Red Sea at dawn and dusk is unlike anywhere else. The deck is yours — bring your practice, your camera, or nothing at all.
No diving certification or prior water experience required for any activity on this retreat. All water sessions are guided and supported.
Food That Supports the Practice.
Full-board buffet meals three times a day, plus mid-morning and afternoon snacks. The chef works with the retreat leader to align the menu with the programme: light mornings before practice, nourishing lunches after water sessions, warm dinners at anchor. Dietary needs are handled as standard, not as exceptions.
Alcohol is available on board and billed separately. The retreat leader can request an alcohol-free environment for the full charter — we accommodate this without question.
